Classes A to Z is an online platform that helps teachers find new students by letting you advertise your services to our users. What’s unique about our website is that we provide you with your very own web space, essentially functioning as your website. Your biography, credentials, reviews, and any subjects you offer are all organized neatly in one place. Our job then is to get it seen by students looking for a teacher like you! With us helping you market your services, you can focus on teaching and growing your business.
Subscribing to our packages gives you more features, more benefits, and more opportunities to gain new students and earn. All our packages are competitively priced, but the exact cost depends on which package your account is on.
You can find the latest packages in your Member Account panel under Account> Billing or by going to Get Listed and completing the first part of the registration process.
At Classes A to Z, we’re always looking for new teachers! Professional tutors with many years of experience and even those who are just starting out are welcome to advertise their lessons with us. Students have varying needs and expectations, so it’s all a matter of the right ones finding and contacting you.
While preferred, we do not require our teachers to have DBS check. Many parents also prefer their teacher to have one. We recommend that you get a DBS check as this increases your chances of being booked. Simply send us a copy of your recent (within 1 year) DBS check along with your proof of ID and we will update your profile to show the DBS check badge.
Classes A to Z cannot guarantee you new students. Filling in your profile properly will increase the chances of potential students contacting you.

The Inquire buttons are prominently displayed on your profile: by the bottom right corner of your header, and in all your offering tiles. Any interested user can send their inquiries through for your specific offerings with a click of the button!
Yes! We highly encourage teachers to connect with all their students through the website, even those who aren’t currently using Classes A to Z. This makes it easier for you to manage and communicate with your students on one platform, and lets you send out recognition and receive reviews. Learn more about sending an invite
Once a lesson is booked and confirmed, we will send you each other’s phone number, email address, and other relevant information (such as Skype ID if the lessons are online). Until then, our messaging system allows you discuss the details of your tuition with the student.
To formalize your agreed upon lesson and schedule, send a booking request with those details. You and your student will automatically receive each other’s contact details once the booking has been confirmed.
Please note that displaying your contact details anywhere on the page is strictly not allowed. Any teacher caught displaying their phone number, email address, or website url in some form will have their account suspended.
For no shows, you must cancel the confirmed booking on your dashboard as soon as possible. Provide a reason for the cancelled booking. Failing to do so will result in you being charged for the booked lesson.
Classes A to Z gets an introduction fee for every successful booking. If you’ve already had your first lesson with the student and have paid the introduction fee, we advise coordinating directly with each other regarding subsequent lessons.
We encourage teachers to create their own student accounts to personally see what your profile looks like, and maybe even get lessons yourself! You may use the same email for both accounts.
